Cut Throat
“2 vs 1” drill improves strategic skills & shots
THE RULES
- Single Side: One player
- Doubles Side: Two players on this side positioned in normal return court position.
- Serving: Only serve on single side. Serve from both boxes until rally lost from both serving boxes. Points won on serving side only.
- Rotation: Rotate clockwise on a side-out with a person on the 2 player side becoming the single player side.
- Play: Players on doubles side must only hit the ball back into the side of the court that the single player served from. The single player can hit back to the entire court.
- Winner: Keep track of your points & first to 11 wins.
Drop Shot: Make It Take It
Improve accuracy and remove the fear of hitting third-shot drops.
THE RULES

- Players: On one side 2 players at the kitchen line & on the other side 1 player at the baseline.
- Start: A player from the kitchen hits the ball easily to the baseline player.
- Play: Baseline player hits a drop shot alternating cross court or down the line until you miss. Kitchen players must return shots deep to the baseline player.
- Rotate: When the single player misses a drop shot rotate all three players clockwise.
Drive Reset
Practice resets which are a soft, defensive shot designed to neutralize an opponent’s aggressive, high-paced attack by dropping the ball into the kitchen
THE RULES

- Setup: The resetter setups up at the kitchen, the driver sets up cross court from the resetter at the baseline & the net player setsup at net across from resetter on the same side as the driver.
- Play 1: The driver hits hard & accurate balls at the resetter.
- Play 2: Resetter is to catch the ball in front and drop in kitchen to the net player.
- Play 3: Net player is to dink it back or drive it back if high.
- Play 4: Resetter takes the ball from the net player and drives it back to the driver when they get a good ball to do so & driver drives it back at resetter.
- Rotate: After 10 drives rotate clockwise..
